"Altered Wand"
Stamp Artist - Chelsea Esther Huff |
Directions:
- on wax paper roll out and flatten sculpy clay to about a 16th inch, enough to roll your hair stick up in 1 and a half times. Mine was about 10-12 inces long and about 2 1/2 -3 inches wide. Leave openings at each end for a glass marble and a crystal...or anything else you would want to use..
- once it's rolled to your liking, stamp images randomly. I didn't need to use any release ink, but you can use versamark..
- place on alum. foil and follow instructions on clay box for baking.
- once baked and cooled, sponge lumiere paints. I started with the darkest and went to my lightest
- use the metallic rubs to outline the stamp images.
- using the hot glue, apply the crystal to one end and a glass marble to the other.
- also using the hot glue, apply other marble and star embellishments to your wand.
- add fibers and wire and beads around your wand.
- For the faerie in the jar - which is an idea and a parts from a kit that i got from lisa vollrath, take a glass jar and set it aside. Wider is better. Take an image, and put wings on it. You can do a front and back image so you can see the image no matter how your looking into the jar. Make it small enough to fit inside the jar. Once it's in the jar, add small glass beads to give it some color. You can also add sand or anything else small.
- Add to wand with fibers and wire and beads.
- Go turn someone into a faerie!!
