"Mama and I"
Stamp Artist - Lise Steenerson |
Tear a page out of an old book. Lightly mist with Walnut Ink.
Let it dry.
Stamp 2 corners with the Stampsmith image in Archival Sepia
colored ink. Also stamp the Stampsmith image of Mama and I on
glossy paper with the same ink. Trim.
Use the template of a large feather to dry emboss the page
in 2 different location (right side going down and left side
going up). Use a soft hand as the paper is very fragile and tear
easily. Rub gently some Antique Brass colored Metallic Rub-Ons
on the embossed feather to make it stand out.
Stipple the same Sepia ink on the edges of the paper.
For the background paper, generously spray with water some
brown cardstock. Add some Perfect Pearls in metallic shade and
blend in. When done, lightly mist with alcohol. (This is a technique
taught by Julie from Stampers Anonymous)
Layer all your paper onto brown cardstock.
Add a gold and a brown eyelet in each corner

Stamp Artist - Monica Alvis |
| Condition clay by running it through a pasta
machine 20-30 times on the thickest setting. Then, run it through
again on the setting of your choice until it is the desired size
needed for lace background stamp. Make another piece big enough
for the Maude stamp. Ink lace background stamp with Brilliance
ink, and stamped into uncured clay. Set aside. With the second
piece of clay, stamp Maude with Archival Sepia ink. Place both
in oven & follow manufacturer's instructions to bake. When
cooled, go around the edges of both clay pieces with a Gold Leafing
pen (Krylon). Glue both clay pieces together with E6000 glue.
Set aside. Add Diamond Glaze all around the edges of the Maude
clay piece, and quickly add Teeny Tiny marbles all around it.
Seal with Sculpey Glaze. When dry, attach to front of card with
E6000. With a small piece of brass tooling foil and a stylus,
write "Dream", and the border. Go over brass piece
with StazOn Ink. Glue that to front of clay pieces with E6000.!

"Timeless Beauty"
Stamp Artist - Beverly Shupp |
First Anne Page was stamped in black Stazon in the lower right
hand corner of white glossy card stock. She was masked and Queen
Margaret was stamped to her left. Both ladies being masked now,
I added Portia above and in-between them. All in black Stazon
ink. Coloring them all in markers and gel pens, I then started
sponging corresponding dye inks around them with an eye shadow
applicator. Finally sponging the background yellow for highlight
and the blue for framing. The Stampsmith design was then added
in Stampit Daydream to the background and the Stampsmith "Les
Belles Femmes" was stamped in Black Stazon. A gold paint
pen border was added to finish the frame off. On purple card
stock I stamped Stampsmith's round playing card in Brilliance
Pearlescent Purple layering the framed image over it. The braided
gold trim was then glued on.

"Tell Your Fortune?"
Stamp Artist - Deb Silva |
|
Directions
First I stamped the Stampsmith's Italian Tarot Cards #1 onto
some calendar paper with pigment ink and mounted them on green
paper, then on embossed vellum for dimension.
Next I did a collaged paper background on a watercolor card,
then mounted a vintage gypsy photo and the tarot cards on the
collaged background.
I then brushed walnut ink over the background, and brushed
the whole thing with Golden's Clear Tar Gel Medium, while that
was still tacky I went over it with a pearl Sennelier iridescent
oil pastel, leaving the stamped images clear.
I rubbed the pastel in and let it dry with the gel medium.
