    2. With a 1 1/2" punch, punch yellow circle for moon.  Centre moon and two deer on the turquoise cardstock.
    3. Cut window around snowflake paper.  Cut portions of the snowflakes so they jut into the window portion.  Highlight snowflakes with clear Stickles.

    "Butterfly Christmas Angel"
    Stamp Artist - Char Johnsen

     Supplies

    • Cardstock – gold veined foil (from The Paper Pallet), red and green, white or black.
    • Gold Peel off Border Stickers and corners
    • Stained Glass paint
    • Small paintbrush
    • Glue pen
    • Gold Holographic Glitter, purple and red glitter.
    • Double stick tapeAcetate Sheet
    • Stazon Black Inkpad

      Rubber Stamp: Non Sequitur
      Plate 5 Butterfly Angel

    Directions:
Ink Angel stamp with Stazon Black ink and stamp on acetate. Gently heat set.

Turn acetate over and using paintbrush, paint in areas with desired colors leaving angel wings and butterflies blank. I used a lighter color (i.e. blue for the sky) down first. Let dry a bit then cover with another coat in a darker shade. If you only have one shade of a color, do two coats. Let dry overnight.

When dry cover butterflies with glue pen and sprinkle purple and red glitter respectively. Then coat angel wings using glue pen and sprinkle on the Gold holographic Glitter.

Let dry well. If you need to go back over any black lines that didn’t stamp well, use a sharpie marker. Note: you can also stamp image on white cardstock, scan and run the acetate sheet through your printer as well instead of stamping.

Make a template from a scrap sheet of cardstock the size of the acetate stamped angel. Cut out inside to make window. Place window on red cardstock and mark and cut out window. Cut borders down to desired width to make frame.

Cut a piece of either white or black cardstock the size of the acetate sheet. You can try it out to see which color looks best behind the acetate. Attach along edges only to the acetate using double sided tape (small narrow pieces that don’t go beyond black inside edge of stamped image)

Cut piece of gold veined foil paper to mat red frame. Adhere with double stick tape. Adhere this to a piece of green cardstock folded for card and cut to size desired.

Use gold colored corner peel off stickers on green corners and red frame corners. Edge red frame inside and outside edge with gold border peel offs and also outside edge of green card.
