Supplies & Rubber Stamps:
- Rubber Stamps
Elegant Collage, Stampington & Co. No. C8428 Holiday greeting
stamp, Stamp Cabana (i think; bought unmounted long ago)
- Cream colored text weight paper Red card stock Green card
stock (any shades will do, i chose more "country" colors
Red and green fibers
- Coin envelopes
- 1/4-inch hole punch 1/2-inch hole punch 1-inch hole punch
corner rounder punch
- 3 stipple brushes
- 1 vert small stick dauber
- Memories Artprint Brown
- Memories Black
- Tim Holtz Distress Peeled Paint (green) and Fire Brick (red)
Colorbox Chestnut
|
|
Directions:
- Cut 81/2 by 11 text and card stock into quarters.
- Take cream square, using stipple brush, lay down good layer
of Artprint Brown.
- Stamp in black, let dry.
- Go back over square with more Artprint Brown, then layer
on green on the leaves and a few places on the background; then
use red on the berries and couple of places on the background.
- Tear this piece into the shape of a tag.
- Lay on scrap paper and using the tiny dauber, brush little
Chestnut over the torn edges to cover up where you tore the cream
colored paper.
- Glue it to green piece, trim, use corner rounder on bottom
two corners.
- Glue this section to red, trim and round corners.
- When all layers are glued together, punch hole in top and
make hole covers. I find it easiest to first punch piece of red
with the smallest hole punch, then turn 1/2 inch circle punch
unpside down over a hole, position hole in center, hold on tight,
turn over and punch out. Glue over hole on tag. String with fibers.
- Take holiday greeting word stamp and stamp on SMOOTH side
of coin envelope with Artprint Brown. Trim to fit your card.
Using the 1-inch circle punch, punch out a half-moon like a library
card. Glue to the back of your card to hold your holiday letter;
if you don't send letters, stamp in black ink a holiday greeting
and sign.

Directions
Stamp Cerridwen twice on heavy clear vellum in Noir black
ink and let dry or use a heat gun to speed drying. Color both
in with colored pencils. Trim the first one close around the
sorceress. On the second piece, use the 4-needle tool to make
a pattern following the outline of the stamped image. Then use
the semi circle around the perimeter finally the ball tool to
make dots in the semi circles. Trim around the edges. . Attach
the stamped vellum image to the cardstock with white star eyelets.
Trim and punch corners with the star corner punch. Fold white
card in half and stamp with platinum planet and pearlescent purple
swirls. Attach blue cardstock to the top. I used Zots to attach
the inner image of Cerridwen but it started to pop off after
a short time so I recommend e-6000 instead.
