"Angels"
Stamp Artist - Rush |

Inside view |
Directions
- Choosing the light-colored cardstock, score and fold into
panels. Panel one should measure about 3.5. panel two measures
2.75. panel three measures3.25. discard remaining cardstock.
- On the left side, starting at about 5.25 from the
bottom, rip the paper diagonally to leave approximately 2.75
on the right side.
|
- Stamp all images using a sepia-toned ink pad, except
when embossing an image. Then use an embossing pad.
- Panel one left side rip paper
on left edge to leave about 3 from the side to the crease.
Stamp image 1 about 1.75 from the bottom, placing the womans
head close to the top of the torn left corner. This will allow
her head to be seen when the card is closed. Using chalk, lightly
color the image; using brown, lightly mottle the area outside
of the stamped image. Using stamp 3 and the embossing ink pad,
stamp the mage next to and under the image ; emboss with copper
powder.
|

Front full view |
- Panel two middle mask the left and right
panel; stamp with image 2, covering the entire panel. Color lightly
with chalk, leaving the background plain.
- Panel three- right side tear cardstock on the
right side, making the panel 3 wide. Lightly stipple all
over with the same brown chalk used on panel one. Take a glassine
envelope (approximately 2 and 1/8 by 3 long) and
cut down to fit panel (2.75), removing the flap side. Also,
using a square punch (approximately 1 and 3/8) punch through
the right side of the open end of the envelope centered and about
.25 from right side. This will make a pocket for the tag.
Adhere envelope .25 from bottom at the left side crease.
Using a latin font from your computer, print out the Alpha and
Omega signs; using any font, print an ampersand. Print all three
characters onto medium brown cardstock. Cut these into small
squares and place on left side of glassine envelope about .25
from left side. Mask the center panel,. Using stamp 3 and the
embossing pad, stamp image just above glassine envelope, letting
it go past the torn edges of the paper. Emboss with copper powder.
- The tag cut tag 2 by 2.5 to fit within
the glassine envelope using the medium brown cardstock. Adhere
three graces image to the tag, leaving a small border
on each side. For tab, cut cardstock that measures .5 inches
wide and 2 long. Using copper eyelet, attach tab to the
middle of right edge going through all 3 layers. Insert fibers
through tab, and tie into a knot. Insert tag into glassine envelope.
- Fold middle panel over left panel; fold right panel to back
of middle panel.
- Cut out an image of an angel; tear the top edge similarly
to the panel. At the top right of the back of the middle panel,
place the angel so it peeks out above panel three.
