"Floral Array"
Stamp Artist - Carolyn Summers

Instructions:

Stamp the image twice on a scrap of paper and cut out to use as masks. Stamp the image on a piece of vellum or transparency to use with the stamp positioner.

Stamp the image on the smooth side of a piece of peach Bazzill cardstock with VersaMark and emboss with Terra Cotta EP. Bleach the color from the vase and color with paints as shown or as desired and cut out.

On a quarter sheet of Cantaloupe cardstock, textured side, stamp the image near the center with VersaMark and emboss with Terra Cotta EP. Use your stamp positioner to determine where to place the second image and mask the image already stamped. The second impression will be placed horizontally at the left edge of the card. (The vase portion is not stamped.) Cover both the main image and the image on the left with masks and stamp a third time from the right-hand side of the card. THE GOAL IS TO CREATE A KALEIDOSCOPE ARRAY WITH THE FLOWERS.

Mount the peach image to the left of the kaleidoscope flower with mounting tape. Insert copper eyelets at each corner of the cantaloupe card. Mount to a slightly larger yam colored card (smooth side) and them to a slightly larger border of the textured peach cardstock.

The completed card is then mounted to a folded textured yam card. Punch a hole in the center of the card at the fold and add an eyelet to string the variegated color fiber as shown. Attach copper beads to both ends.

2 packages Black Sculpey
1 package Gold Sculpey

Stipple or stencil brush
Plaid Treasure Gold Wax Metallic Finish in Renaissance Gold
Copper Wire
Round Topiary GS-109 Rubber Stamp from Ink-N-Rubber Expressions

For the plaque:

1. Take the package of gold Sculpey and divide in half. Roll out one of the halves into a square shape about 1/8 inch in thickness and large enough for the Topiary image. Take the Topiary image and place down into Sculpey. Use enough pressure to create a good indentation.

"Antique Topiary Plaque with Easel"
Stamp Artist - Kim Moody

2. Take a package of black Sculpey and divide in half. Roll out into a square shape a little larger than the gold Sculpey piece which has the Topiary image, about ¼-1/2 inch longer on sides. Again, have the thickness about ¼ inch thick. Place the gold Sculpey piece on top of the black piece. Bake in a toaster oven for 15 minutes at 275F.
3. Using the stipple or stencil brush, dab the Wax Metallic Finish onto the Topiary randomly to create and
antique look.. Let dry for a few minutes, then buff lightly with a soft cloth.

For the easel:

1. Take one package of black Scupley and massage clay until warm and pliant. Separate the package into two parts and roll each part lengthwise to form two long cylinders approximately the same size. These will be two of the legs of the easel. (The length is determined by the size of the plaque you are going to display on the easel.) Take the next package of black Sculpey and work clay and separate as before. Roll out one of the parts to form another long cylinder the same size as the other two. Take the second part use it to create a smaller cylinder. This will be the shelf of the easel. Lay two of the legs of the easel together at the top and lay the shelf piece across tem about ¾ of the way down. At this point, make sure the shelf is wide enough to accommodate the plaque you are going to display on it. Bake the parts of the easel together in an oven for 15 minutes at 275F. Allow time for the Sculpey to set after taking it out of the oven.
2. Using the stencil or stipple brush, dab the Wax Metallic finish randomly onto the parts of the easel.
3. Attach the third leg to the other parts of the easel using copper wire. Add copper wire to the other junctions of the easel for added support and decoration.
