"Floral Postoids"
Stamp Artist - Linda Reid
Image: gg designs
To make the postoids, I used matte coated cardstock and an acetate template that I made from a pattern in RubberStampMaddness magazine.

With the template in place over the cardstock, I stippled 2 colors into each rectangle. Then I stamped the overall background in a coordinating color with the chosen image.

With the template still in place, I stamped the central floral image on each postoid and the "denomination" in the lower right corner. Then I removed the template and perforated the postoids with a small perforating wheel (used in sewing).
I cut out 6 of them and mounted them on black cardstock which had been stamped and embossed with ggdesigns leaf border and embellished with sheer ribbon.

Stamp Artist - Sharon Dow
Images: Rubber Baby #8105-M-ME Large Satchel.
Rubber Poets #357B
Technique:
1.
Color "All week" stamp with markers and stamp on matte white cardstock. Tear or cut edges with deckle edge ruler or sissors. Color edge of square with matching marker. Brayer clear embossing ink over image. Sprinkle with clear embossing powder, heat image, let cool. Repeat embossing process. Mount image on thicker paper torn to size, edges colored in dark contrasting marker. I used egg carton which has a nice thickness and is easy to tear.
2.
Stamp satchel with clear embossing ink. Sprinkle with dark blue embossing powder and heat set. Cut out center panel of satchel, save panel. Use direct to paper technique to color satchel. Use cut out center panel as a template and trace over center of map. With a craft knife cut out shape to fit in satchel.
3. For a watery look, ink brayer with dye ink and lightly spray with water. Brayer over glossy card stock, let dry. Tear or cut to size with deckle edger. Color edges with markers in a similar color.
4. Print "you are here" from computer. Cut with craft knife into arrow shape. Lightly sponge pigment ink on arrow to tone down whiteness of paper.
5. For assembly use double face tape. Mount map on blue cardstock. Mount brayered cardstock on top of map. Align cutout map section under satchel and mount. Center panel of satchel is mounted directly over map section. Place alligator, postage stamps and you are here in a pleasing configuration and mount.
6. Finish with matte fixitive spray.
