"Stationery Box, Card and Envelope"
Stamp Artist - Ruth Dupchen

 Supplies

  • Rubber Stamps:
    All stamps from The Cat’s Pajamas (Little Sprinkle C-S302)
  • Black inkpad, Tombow # 195 green marker and Marvy Le Plume II #9 pink marker
  • Card stock in the following colors: Pink, Green and White
  • Green paper with flowers
  • Silver glitter glue
  • Double stick tape and Velcro
  • White envelopes
  • Stationery box template
  • Paper trimmer, Bone folder and Scissors

Card Instructions

  1. From pink card stock cut one piece 5 ½”x 8 ½”fold in half lengthwise with bone folder for card.
  2. Cut one piece of flowered paper 5 ½”x 2 ¼” and tape onto folded pink card lengthwise.
  3. Now make the layered center by cutting one piece of white cardstock 3 ½”x 3”. Tape onto the center of the card.
  4. Next cut green cardstock 3”x 2 ½”. Tape and center onto white cardstock.
  5. For the next layer cut pink cardstock 2 ½”x 2. Tape and center onto green cardstock.
  6. Next cut white cardstock 2”x 1 ½”. Stamp in black the cat image onto the center. Color cat eyes in green, nose in pink and pink for the stones in the necklace. Use silver glitter glue to dot center of eyes and around necklace. Now tape this to the center of the pink cardstock.

Envelope Instructions

  1. Use green marker to make little curly lines around the side on the envelope. Use pink marker to dot the space between each green line you just make around the envelope.
  2. Next stamp cat in black onto the left bottom side of the face of the envelope. Color in the eyes with green, the nose with pink and pink for the stones in the necklace. Use silver glitter glue to dot center of eyes and around necklace.

Stationery Box Instructions

  1. Cut stationery box from one 8 ½”x 11” sheet of pink card stock using a template for a stationery box and following their directions.
  2. Using template again, cut a flap for the stationery box from one 8 ½”x 11” sheet of green flowered print paper making sure to only cut the paper up to the second fold and then stop and trim. This will be about 3 ½” long. Tape the flower paper you just cut on top of the pink flap of the stationery box.
  3. Now make the layered center by cutting one piece of white cardstock 2 ¾”x 2 ¼”
  4. Next cut green cardstock 2”x 2 ½”. Tape and center onto white cardstock.
  5. For the next layer cut pink cardstock 2 ¼”x 1 ¾”. Tape and center onto green cardstock.
  6. Next cut white cardstock 2”x 1 ½”. Stamp in black the cat image onto the center. Color cat eyes in green, nose in pink and pink for the stones in the necklace. Use silver glitter glue to dot center of eyes and around necklace.
  7. After taping layered pieces together, tape half of the back of the last white piece to the center of the flowered flap of the box. On the half not taped use Velcro to adhere to the pink part of the stationery box so your box can open and close.

"Hula girl notebook"
Stamp Artist - katarina maserak

 Directions

  1. Start by stamping up the hula girl with Opera Pink. Sprinkle with hologram sparkle powder. Cut out leaving a small border. Set aside.
  2. Using an alphabet set, stamp up the word "Aloha" twice, as shown on card. Sprinkle hologram EP over. Put a flower sticker over the "O", in the middle. Cut around leaving a small border. Glue to a purple card and cut around again, leaving a small border. Set aside.
  3. Using PSX flower stamp and fluid chalk in "Varm Violet" stamp up a white square scrap. Cut in narrow lengths. Glue to a card (13x9cm) purple single card. Make sure that the lengths are in order as you cut them, so the flowers are aligned. See picture.
  4. Make a score approximately 2 cm in from the left side. Make two holes 1.5cm in from the top and bottom edge. Set two white eyelet flowers and put this aside.
  5. Make about 10-20 pages from white copy paper that will be a little smaller than the front card. Put holes on the left side so it fits with the front card. Cut a plain purple card, the same size as the front one. Make holes in this one as well.
  6. Thread two shades of purple thin satin ribbon through the holes with the white paper in between the two purple. Tie together in a bow in the middle. Glue on the hula girl on the left side. Use 3-D tape to stick the "aloha" text to the right top side.
  7. To make this gift perfect, make a matching card using the same technique.




"Cattitude"

    C-S302 - Little Sprinkle
    E-S344 - White TV
    D-S356 - Small Asterisk Belt

    Directions:
    Stamp Small Asterik Belt onto bright pink card stock with black dye ink; set aside. On white cardstock, stamp TV and Little Sprinkle in black pigment ink (I used Versacolor). Emboss with clear embossing powder. Inside TV screen, handwrite "Cattitude" with a fine tip marker. Mount white cardstock onto a piece of bright pink, then onto a piece of black. Set balck eyelets
    into each of the 4 corners of the mounted images; set aside. Using a strip adhesive, attach black ribbon along folded side of card. Mount images onto bright pink card front using 3-d glue dots.

Directions:

first fold a regular-sized card out of orange
cardstock. then cut a shape similar to a heart,
leaving the top flat. then DTP the edges of the
"carrot" with green ink. next, take the striped green
cardstock and tear it into a V-shape. cut smaller
V-shapes into the top so it looks like spiky grass and
adhere it to the inside of the carrot so it sticks out
the top. tear a piece of orange dotted paper in the
same general shape of the carrot and adhere it to the
carrot. on white cardstock, stamp the bunny kitty in
black ink and let dry. cut into a polygon and DTP
green ink to the edges.


"Walk Softly"

color the image with colored pencils. then adhere it to a piece of texture orange cardstock and trim the orange cardstock to the same shape. DTP green ink to the orange cardstock as well and adhere to the carrot. next, stamp the phrase with
black ink onto white cardstock and cut into a small polygon shape. DTP green ink again to the white cardstock. adhere onto a piece of orange circle paper ripped to fit around the phrase. open the card and punch a hole big enough to thread fibers through into the stem of the carrot. take several different types of fibers - orange and green, thick, thin, etc. to
about the same length of the carrot. thread it through the stem and arrange over the green striped cardstock stem. voila!




"Missing You"

Directions

Napkin was stamped in permanent Black StazOn ink and masked. Candles and wine glass were then stamped in the same permanent black and masked. Gentlemans Portrait was stamped in Adirondack Sienna and frame hand drawn around him. Background was sponged with pinks and yellows. All masked removed. Shelf was drawn in using a ruler and following the top napkin line.Candles colored in metallic pens and markers. Wine was colored in markers and coated with a clear glue to give a shiney, raised appearance. Entire Image frame was cut out following the "drape" of the napkin and mounted on Black Card stock. "Miss You" was was stamped in clear and embossed with gold. Iris was stamped on a seperate piece of card stock, colored in markers, cut out and applied to the shelf. A pinch of yellow glitter added to the center. Everything then was mounted on light pink Card Stock.

"Little Things"

Directions:

Stamp frame and saying on peach postcard. Stamp carriage on white scrap and watercolor; cut out, leaving white border around image.  With tip of knife make tiny holes near bottom of frame and attach "o" ring and charm.  Use foam mounting tape to attach peach layer to card; use sticky dots to attach carriage to front of card.





"Air Mail"

 Directions

  1. You just need a black card stck and a plain envelope. Red and white mulberry paper.
  2. It is a fairly simple card. Just tear the red mulberry paper to fit the bottom front part of the card.
  3. Using postage Close to my Heart stamps, you will stamp on white paper, then put white and red mulberry paper on back of each also giving the tearing affect.
  4. glue each down and decorate the envelope with another of the postage stamps and it is done.
  5. I also put a white card stock on the inside so it would be easier to write in.

"Martini Card"

Directions:

  1. Make a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card out of Basic Black cardstock.
  2. Using Olive Curtain (K-4178) stamp, stamp with Versamark ink for background.
  3. Swipe Misty Lavendar and Interference Red Pearl-Ex over Olive Curtain images. Wipe off excess Pearl-Ex with grab-it mitt.
  4. Stamp martini glass from Fill 'Er Up (C-S321) in Basic Black dye ink on Ultrasmooth White cardstock. Using silver Encore ink, stamp "liquid" in glass.
  5. Stamp martini glass again in full strength Basic Black dye ink, then offset and shadow stamp again. Using silver Encore ink, stamp "liquid" in glass.
  6. Stamp martini glass again in full strength Basic Black dye ink, then offset and shadow stamp twice. Using silver Encore ink, stamp "liquid" in glass.
  7. Stamp martini glass in full strength on Ultrasmooth White cardstock.
  8. Punch martini glasses out with 1 3/8 inch Paper Shapers punch.
  9. Mount first three glasses on 1 5/8 x 2 inch rectangles of Eggplant Envy. Stamp appropriate saying from Simple Math (D-S322) in Basic Black dye ink on Eggplant Envy.
  10. Turn fourth martini on its side. Stamp "floor" in Basic Black above glass. Draw a puddle of liquid with silver Sharpie.
  11. Add purple fibers to back of "floor" martini.
  12. Mount all four martinis onto card front.

  1. Stamp cover of booklet with wand repeatedly in gold and set aside. Stamp "I Feel Pretty" (mirror) in dark brown on pink cardstock. Mask and stamp Little Sprinkle (kitty) in creamy brown. Stamp crown in charcoal dye ink in the corner. Ink edges with charcoal ink. Trim with pinking decorative scissors. Layer on top of paisley printed cardstock and trim with pinking scissors. Mount to booklet cover with foam tape.
  2. Stamp "glamour puss" repeatedly on gauze ribbon. Punch a hole and tie the ribbon through. Insert pink flower brad through the hole. Punch two holes through the cover and 8 sheets of 6X6 papers and back cardstock. Add jump rings and tie ribbons onto the rings.

Directions:

  1. Heat a small area of fun foam with heat gun and press flower stamp into it. Make 3 flowers and cut out.
  2. Use cut out flowers for imprints on background -- leave ink on flowers.
  3. Stamp square stamp 3 times on red piece & 6 times on pink background , in lime ink. Add words.
  4. Tear mulberry paper & layer card together.
  5. Arrange flower heads and glue onto card
  6. Roll a piece of mulberry paper for stems and leaves. Glue onto card.
  7. Dab green ink on flower centers.

  3. Cut 3 windows 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" on right edge of 3" x 5 1/2" white cardstock leaving a 1/4" edge on right side
  4. Glue on top of crackle piece so it shows thru windows.
  5. Glue the 2 black 1/4" strips on the left side of windows 1/4" apart.
  6. Stamp verse on left side of card and emboss with white embossing powder.
  7. Stamp 2 butterflies with versamark ink on 2" x 3" scrap of black cardstock and emboss with white powder and cut out.
  8. Attach butterflies with pop-dots on the crossbars between windows.

"One Martini"

Directions:

  1. Cut vellum 1/4" shorter on two sides than cardstock, fold widthwise to lay over card base.
  2. Stamp circles and "atomic/jacks" shape in lavender, coral, and yellow inks on blue cardstock base.
  3. Stamp martini lady and saying in Inkpressions' Memories ink, black, LET DRY THOROUGHLY. Do not heat set, vellum will curl.
  4. Lay stamped vellum over card base, punch 1/8" holes at top and bottom.
  5. Thread ribbon from inside and tie, trim.

Directions:

  1. Using the light brown cardstock, make a 5 ½ x 4 ¼ card.
  2. stamp sprinkle 3 times on the top part of the card with black ink.
  3. stamp whirlygig with black ink randomly on the bottom part of the card.
  4. Adhere a piece of patterned paper to the card as shown
  5. stamp glamour pusswith black ink on light brown cardstock, layer onto a dark brown cardstock and stitch a button on each side. Adhere to the middle of the patterned paper.

  1. Begin with red base card and stamp small circle on one side and emboss with white embossing powder; do the same on the other circle but only emboss with black embossing powder.
  2. On paint chip stamp the phone alternately in black and white and emboss with embossing powder's.
  3. Line one side of the paint chip with black and one side with white.
  4. 4. Finish by adhering to the center of the card.
