Directions:
- Card: Prepackaged or cut black cardstock 10” x 6 ½ ” , folded to make a 6 ½” x 5” card.
- First Mat: Light gray Bazzill cardstock Cut 5 3/8” x 4 3/8”
- Adhere to card with favorite adhesive towards the top of card leaving a ¼ “ border at top and sides and a ¾” border at the bottom for word placement.
- 1st Black and White Mat. Regular black and white cardstock. You can used textured cardstock if you wish. Cut two pieces of cardstock, one black one white, 5 1/16” x 4 1/16”. Put together making sure both sheets match exactly. Then cut diagonally so you end up with 4 triangular pieces. Tape two, one black, one white together to form the rectangular black and white mat. Adhere to the light gray mat on the card.
- 2nd Gray Mat – Darker Gray Bazzill Cardstock – cut 4 ½” x 3 5/8” mat. Adhere to black and white mat on card trying to match up the corners to the dividing line of the black and white mat as close as possible.
- 2nd black and white mat – same technique as 1st black and white mat except your measurements will be 4 1/8” x 3 ¼”. When adhering this mat to your card, turn opposite colors (i.e. if your 1st b/w mat had black on top, make the 2nd black and white mat black on the bottom, you want to alternate the colors)
- Cut 2 – 2” x 2” black cardstock (note, non textured works best for faces), and 2- 2” x 2” white cardstock.
- Stamp face with Versamark ink on each of the 4 2” x 2” pieces.
- Sprinkle black pieces with white detail embossing powder.
- Sprinkle white pieces with black detail embossing powder.
- Shake off excess and heat set with heating tool.
- Cut out each face piece along the embossed edge.
- You can run a black felt pen along edges of the black pieces to get rid of any white edges.
- Apply face pieces to the 2nd black and white mat on card starting from the top left, with alternating colors. (i.e. if 2nd mat white piece is top left, begin by adhering black face then next to it white face, catty corner the pieces by color). Try and match up the corners of the face pieces with the diagonal cut lines of the mat underneath as close as possible.
- IMAGINE Word Stamp: Cut a 1 ½” x 3 ½” piece out of both white and black card stock. Put together making sure your edges match. Cut on the diagonal, and then attached with repositionable double sided tape on the back one white piece and one black piece to make a rectangle, pushing together the cut edge as close as possible.
- Stamp the word stamp with Versamark Ink as centered as you can eyeball it.
- Take apart the two pieces.
- Sprinkle black detail powder on the white piece.
- Sprinkle white detail powder on the black piece.
- Tap off excess and heat set with heat tool.
- Join the two pieces back together again matching up the lettering as close as possible using your favorite adhesive. I found it helpful to tape both pieces to another piece of white card stock cut to the size of the word.
- Trim down on all sides to about 1/8th of an inch all the way around from the lettering.
- Cut a piece of the dark gray card stock 1/8” all the way around your word to mat.
- Adhere word to mat using adhesive of your choice then mat to bottom of card.
- Stamp inside greeting of your choice.
Optional: Inside I used Stampers Anonymous Phrase Stamp “You Say It’s Your Birthday” (G3-1058) and unknown phrase “Happy Birthday To You”.

|
Directions:
- Face was stamped in permanent black ink and masked.
- Tree was then stamped in the same ink and masked. Again, using the permanent black ink the boy and rabbit were stamped and masked.
- The sky area was sponged with a light blue, the grass area with a light green. The grass clumps were then stamped with a darker green and the swirling feather in the sky was stamped in the same light blue, to keep it muted but defined.
- Masks removed and some light blue sponged throughout the tree branches. Everything was colored with markers.
- The tree leaves were then accented with a metallic gold paint pen and the frame was outlined with the same pen. The berries on the tree were done in two shades of red marker then sporadically dotted with a red liquid glitter.
- ART was stamped in gold pigment, then embossed in gold. Frame was finally mounted on olive green card stock.

-
Directions:
- The Grapes
Stamp Grapes on ShrinkyDinks Frosted Ruff N' Ready using Black Staz On ink. Color in with chalk. I can't remember where my chalk came from - either a Ben Franklin store or Stampin' Up I've had it 10 years. I used purple, green and brown. Cut out the grapes image. Shrink using a heat tool and a heat proof surface. I used a metal tin that came with cookies in it.
- The card
I used manila colored cardstock from Office Depot as the base (4.25" x 5.5"). The purple background came from the Jewel Tone package by The Paper Company (4 1/8" x 5 1/4").
- The art
I stamped the winemaker's marks on a 5" x 3" piece of purple cardstock one shade lighter than the Jewel Tone paper. I don't know the company that made the purple cardstock. Then I stamped the winemaker's marks on a 5 1/8" x 3" piece of paper from a lunch bag. I tore the center out of the purple cardstock and distressed the edges using my finger. I matched the edges to the lunch bag marks and glued the pieces on using a Scotch glue stick. Next I added the wine bottle/coffee mug mark using Whispers Port Wine dye ink. Next, I distressed the rest of the edges of the card using Marvy Green #4 ink and then black ink. I stamped the wine bottle and hands with wine glasses on scraps of lunch bag and colored them in using Crayola colored pencils. I tore the scraps out and adhered the wine bottle with glue stick and the hands with hot glue. I also hot glued the grapes to the top of the card. I used Stampabilities black dye ink for all the black ink
