    Directions:
    The cowboy was stamped in permanent black ink and masked. Background was sponged in Adirondak Butterscotch and Caramel. Mountains, grass and weeds, stamped in Adirondak Caramel. Buffalo stamped in Marvy Black as was the saying. Mask removed and cowboy was colored in markers. Scene was matted on black card stock and then on a dark red card stock.

"Lets Fly"

Supplies & Rubber Stamps:

  • Rubber Stamps
    Landscape parts sheet # 1 & 2 --Sunday International

    Memories Black ink, green, lt blue, and soft stone
  • Stipple brush
  • white, green, and black card stock

Directions:

  1. On white piece of card stock --Use black ink for all stamping.
    Stamp mountains, then stamp rock 3 times on bottom right corner and once in bottom foreground. Over lapping some.
  2. Stamp tree on left side and cattail rushes 4 times, overlapping some areas.
    Fill in water area with water ripple stamp.
    Stamp birds 2 times, and small ferns on rocks.
  3. Tear a piece of paper in the shape of a cloud and use blue ink to stipple on top edge of torn paper to make cloud edges. Keep moving paper around to make clouds appear - until you have as many clouds as you like.
  4. Use stipple brush--dab green ink over foliage areas. Blue ink over water areas. Soft stone over rocks. Also stamp a green reflection in the water that the trees are making. It does not matter if you stipple over any stamped lines.
  5. Layer on green then black card stock.

  • heavy green card stock, smooth watercolour paper, purple mulberry paper, white rice paper
  • Memories black dye ink
  • double sided tape
  • Perfect Paper Adhesive (matte)
  • soft pastel chalks
  • Towboy watercolour markers including blender
  • PSX gold embossing powder
  • Yellow Admiral Butterfly found dead in yard.
  • Dried flowers from garden
  • x-acto knife

"Flower Girl"

Directions

  1. Decide on size of card, cut and fold heavy green card stock.
  2. Gold emboss butterflies randomly on front of card, set aside.
  3. Stamp flower girl's face on smooth watercolour with black dye ink.
  4. Colour and blend face and flowers as desired using markers.
    (colour flowers according to own collection of dried flowers)
  5. Fill in background with light blue chalk.
  6. Cut out face using scissors and x-acto knife where required.
  7. Tear white rice paper in random shape, to fit green card front
  8. Tear purple mulberry paper in random shape and layer over white paper.
  9. Assemble card, layering papers and attaching with double sided tape.
  10. Attach dried flowers and butterfly around face using Perfect Paper Adhesive.

    NOTE: be sure to complete INSIDE of card before attaching dried flowers and butterfly
