Directions
- Cut up tissue paper in random squares and rectangles, lay
over each other, spritz with water. They will bleed into
each other - creating varied colors. Set aside, let dry.
- Once dry, use glue stick to adhere to white cardstock, overlapping
and covering card completely. Set aside.
- On another piece of white cardstock, apply reinkers with
sponge. Put ink on sponge and spritz with water, then daub all
over cardstock. Let dry.
- When dry, stamp image from asian pane, then bleach out selected
parts of image (faces and headpieces).
- When bleach is dry, apply twinkling h2os to headpieces and
kimono. Ink edge of cardstock with black ink. Mount onto black
cardstock, then onto gold cardstock. Stamp chinese postage onto
cardstock with tissue on it. Glue on stip of chiyogami paper.
Mount picture onto tissued cardstock.
- Take mizuhiki and cut edges on diagonal, then tie together
with gold thread. Roll glue dot then lay along mizuhiki and stick
to top left corner of image.
- Stamp accent image onto domino with Brilliance, heat set.
Color in image. Ink edges of domino with Krylon pen. Use matte
varnish on image, and glossy varnish on edges.
- When domino is dry, stick pin back on with super glue.
- punch holes in card and attach pin on card.
- Stick postage stamp on card
- Whew! you're done!

"Imagination Flowers"

Directions
- Use base yellow card
- Place black background onto base yellow card.
- Using various colored cardstocks and various rainbow inks,
ink up Little Sprinkles and stamp the image repeatedly in a circle
to form flowers.
- With Marvy brush markers fill in the center of the flowers.
- Cut out the flowers you make and adhere to the card over
background.
- Cut lime green leaf and stamp the saying onto it.
- Put the leaf through a crimper and place under the flowers
and adhere to card to finish.

Directions
- Stamp the background in black using the Gentler times swirl
stamp (1/2 sheet 8 1/2 x 11 folded to make card)
- Stamp the French script in black on 3 x 3 white cardstock
- Stamp the woman's face in black ink over the French script

- Mount square onto 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 black cardstock
- Lightly spray adhesive over face and French script
- Attach square of black toile smoothly over image
- Attach black square to card
- Using glue, glue charm to front corner

"Postal Collage"

Directions:
- Ink "Postal" with Brilliance Ink and stamp onto
glossy white cardstock. Cut out main image with deckle scissors
and punch postal mark or cut out.
- Rub the gold marker directly on the kraft sheet in a zig
zag fashion. Squeeze the 3 inks from the Nature Walk set over
the marker in the same way. Add the blending solution last.
- Place the large postal cut-out image side down on top of
the alcohol ink mixture. Twist around in one rotation then slide
off the side of the craft sheet. Set aside to dry. Clean the
sheet by applying more blending solution and removing with a
paper towel.
- Edge the postal image with the gold marker when it is dry.
- Age the front of the white card base with the Distress Inks
by dragging across in a random pattern.
- Tear a piece of handmade paper and attach to the card front.
- Attach the postal image to the card front over the handmade
paper.
- Hammer bottle cap flat or use a Sizzix with converter in
place to flatten cap instead.
- Paint cap with alcohol ink and attach a postmark to the center.
Attach cap to card front with foam tape.
- Attach other postmark to card front also.
- Punch 2 vertical 1/4" holes on left side of card. Thread
about 8" of fiber through holes and loop back around and
tie in a knot on the card front.
- Done!

Directions
Using border stamp stamp with black ink 3 times on teal scrap(2"
x 4") and 5 times on magents scrap(2" x 4")-cut
out and trim all border pieces cut 2 on magenta in half lengthwise. Stamp
border with magenta ink on 1" x 2" white scrap. Stamp
lady image over border on white-cut out fan part Stamp lady image
again on white scrap1 5/8" x 1 1/8". glue cut out fan
to white fan area. Glue 3 strips teal border to right
edge of card front and 3 strips of magenta border to left edge
of card front.
Trim excess of top edge of card. Glue the 4 thin strips
of border around edges of teal square-trimming to fit.
Trim corners of white scrap with lady & fan to fit in frame,
glue in center of frame(Diamond) by turning square points up
and down. Glue magenta strip down center of card and
attach Diamond frame piece in center.

"Winter"

Directions:
- To create Faux Encaustic background paper place white glossy
cardstock on craft sheet. Using your craft iron, melt the crayon
wax onto the glossy cardstock, use the iron to move and blend
the caryons. Let cool a few minutes, cut to size for card front
leaving a 1/8" in border.
- Stamp Winter woman on Silver Metallic Paper with Denim Pigment
Ink and heat emboss. Trim and mount on navy blue cardstock.
- Stamp "Winter" word on vellum, let dry, then tear
out. Ink edges of vellum.
- Cut a sheet of 8.5 x 11 Navy Cardstock in half and then fold
this in half. This is your card base.
- On the Faux Encaustic background mount woman image as shown,
then the vellum "winter" (securing vellum with tape
on the back. Edge the encaustic piece with the Silver Leafing
Pen.
- Wrap the fibers around the encaustic piece and secure on
the back. Secure this piece to the card base and finish by glueing
on the snowflake charm.

"Tomorrow"

Directions:
- Iron tissue paper to shiny side of freezer paper.
- Trim to 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 inches.
- Run acetate through Xyron.
- Place acetate on butterfly tissue paper.
- Stamp text on acetate with blue staz-on.
- Trim piece.
- Attach eyelets.
- Layer on peach and lilac card stock.
- Mount on a mint green card.

"Altered Microscrope Slide & Holder"

- Background paper ( here I have used a pre-made faux polished
stone paper)

Directions
- First paint the single slide mailer with the super copper
Lumiere. Set aside.
- Stamp 1st image of the Asian panes stamp onto the background
paper. Cut image to the size of the microscope slide place behind
the glass then use the copper tape around the slide.
- The slide mailer would have dried by now so it can be stamped
into.
- For the front, I have torn a piece of washi paper to cover
the left hand side. Then stamped the Asian border and the Chinese
circle symbol down the right hand side.
- I have used a scrap piece of the background paper to stamp
'Autumn' character from the Chinese season set and adhered it
across the bottom.
- For the inside, stamp Chinese literature background. Stamp
Japanese lady with fan from postage set onto a scrap of the background
paper.
- Adhere torn washi paper onto the left handside. Place microscope
slide in and Voila! done.

"Altered Notebook"

Directions:
- Unwind wire binding from notepad
- Mist cream colored CS with water, front and back
- While wet, stamp multiple trees with rainbow pad and let
dry
- Stamp sentiment on cream colored CS, cut into rectangle and
sew to tree cover when dry
- Run tree cover through xryron or use other adhesive and attach
to front notebook cover
- Stamp the letters for TREE, attach to black squares of CS
- Apply square acrylic, plastic squares to letters
- Attach to cover
- Spray adhesive to foilage and attach to cover
- When finished with cover, spray with fixative
- Stamp small design to front and back of twill
- Punch holes in cover
- Re attach spiral wire
- Tie fibers/twill to top of wire spiral to use as bookmark.
- Send notebook to a good friend to enjoy!

"Geisha Girls"

Directions
- Cut one piece of white card stock in the following sizes:
5 ½x 8 ½, 3 ½ x 1 ¼
and 1 x 1
- Cut one piece of Japanese paper: 5 ½ x 4 ¼.
Then trim about ¼ away from edge using the Pueblo
Scissors
- Fold the 5 ½ x 8 ½ piece of white
card stock in half using your bone folder to make a nice crease
in the center.
- Next stamp one of the Asian Panel stamps on the 3 ½
x1 ¼ white card stock, apply black embossing powder
and heat set.
- Now color in the design using the above mentioned markers
or markers of your choosing.
- Attached finished colored Asian Panel in the middle of Japanese
paper. Using double sided tape.
- Next tape the Japanese paper to the middle of the front of
the card.
- Stamp 2 little circles from the Chinese Birthday Saying Set
on the 1 x 1 piece of card stock and color with the
Yellow-green marker. Now cut the circles.
- With the left over white card stock stamps 6 frames. Next
stamp a Chinese character into each frame using the same stamping
products as for the Asian Panel in step 4. Color them with the
markers and cut them out along the frame edge.
- Use double sided tape on the back of each frame. Cut three
pieces of gold cord, one of each of the following lengths 5,
7 and 9. Next make a sandwich using frame, gold cord
and another frame. You should end up with three gold cords with
the frames on the bottom of each length of cord.
- Finally, use the sandwich technique again for the 2 little
circles but this time place all three of the gold cords in the
center. Tape the little circle on the upper left hand corner
of the face of the card.

"Take Time to Enjoy"

Directions:
Background:
- On black matte cardstock, stamp crackle background with watermark
ink and emboss with clear embossing powder. Cut out. Using a
blender pen, apply russet, copper, interference gold, sunset
gold and gold sparkle powdered pigments. Blend slightly with
paper towel. Let dry. Glue to front of a 5" x 5" glossy
black card.
Card:
- On metallic gold paper, stamp Forget-me-not Sphere with watermark
ink and emboss with black lame embossing powder. Cut out in circle.
Layer onto a circle of glossy black cardstock. Mount onto crackle
background with foam mounts.
- On metallic gold paper, stamp Take Time to Enjoy with black
pigment ink and emboss with black lame embossing powder. Cut
out and layer onto black glossy card stock, then onto metallic
copper paper. Glue to card front.
- Punch leaves from cooper sheet and dry emboss veins with
stylus. Heat leaves with heat gun to add color. Glue leaves and
flower charm to card front. Tie yarn to spine of card.

"Asian Watercolor"

Directions
- Ink brayer with Kaleidacolor Pad keeping the colors in the
pad separated. Wheel over the watercolor paper. Repeat. Make
sure you go over the same colors. Mist the paper with water until
the colors run together. Let dry.
- Stamp the kimono sphere with black pigment ink and emboss
with detail black embossing powder. Mask off the sphere. Ink
the bamboo with black pigment ink and emboss the same way. Remove
mask.
- Highlight areas with a white pencil or white watercolor pencil.
- Adhere to black cardstock.

"Art Doll Shopper"

Directions:
- 1-choose cardstock scraps in any colors you would like to
use.
- stamp in black and cut out the following: (quantity)
(1) Handtext, (3) Drafting compass, (1) rose window, (1) take
out box, (3)Springs, (2) "dream", (15) calligraphy
doodad, (4) "D42"
- stamp in green and red:
(1) Nancy's garden fairy (green only), (1) small flower
- Using photo as a guide, assemble as shown. (it's a good idea
to lay it all out first, make adjustments as needed, then glue
everything in place once you are happy with the arrangement)

Cut compass in half, use top for
head, bottom for legs |

Attach springs for arms, then cut
center section from two calligraphy doodads to use for hands. |

and hands, then wire the items to the doll with 32 gauge wire.

Cut slit into top of one spring
for vase, cut apart flowers and cut out some vines from the garden
fairy, assemble into arrangement and insert into slit in vase. |

Use one top of a compass for purse
and the other for bottle, leaving the tip on and writing "vino"
on it. |

When attaching hair, cut some doodads
off to be shorter.....attach some from the front of the head,
others from the back of the head. |

Eyes can be drawn on, OR stamp just
the center letter of the circle compass two times and cut out |

For shoes, use "dream"
stamp twice and use top tips of compass for heels. Assemble shoes
first, then attach to doll. |
