"A Tiger by the Tail"
Stamp Artist - Carolyn Summers
Image: Tiger Lily T-37SC - Stampin FUNaddict |
Stamp image, lily pad, with pigment green ink and emboss with
clear embossing powder. Color image with colored pencils and
set aside.
Mask off stem portion of image and stamp second
tag using positioning tool to mirror first tag. Cut out image
slightly larger than area stamped .
Using masking technique isolate
center of image (lily flower) and randomly stamp both tags using
a complimentary color.
Using direct to paper technique,
sponge colors of your choice to enhance tags. Sprinkle both cards
with embossing powder and emboss to set the colors. (I prefer
to use this technique as it brings out the original stamped image.
However, you may elminate this step and heat-set the colors.)
Outline the cut out section of second tag and the
outer edges of both cards with gold leaf pen including the tag
rings.
Add fiber embellishments and beads of your choice to connect
the two tags.
