 Supplies

  • Rubber Stamps
    Deer Scene-116L Serindipity Stamps
    Little prayer-MSEM25110My Sentiments Exactly
  • Document Black Ink
  • Dry Chalks-Unknown Brand
  • MakeUp Applicators
  • Blair Workable Fixative Spray
  • Marvy Brush Markers
  • Scotch Double Stick Tape
  • Matte white cardstock
  • Matte pink cardstock
  • Matte Dark Grey cardstock
  • Matte Lighter Gray speckled cardstock

Directions:

  1. Stamp the image onto white matte cardstock with Black Document Ink.
  2. Using dry chalks and makeup applicators apply the color to the scene until you have it the way it pleases you.
  3. When to your liking, spray with workable fixative spray.
  4. Stamp the saying with Document Black Ink.
  5. Layer to the pink and dark gray and mount to the light gray card to complete it.
  6. Inside the card it says.....that God will keep you in his care. (My Sentiments Exactly)

"Solace Garden'"

Directions:

Bird on stump was stamped and masked. Snapdragons, stamped and then masked. Woman stamped and mask added. Wisteria stamped. Sky was then lightly sponged in a turquoise dye ink and tree line was stamped in an olive dye ink. Grass sponged in lime and forest dye inks. All masks are now removed. Everything was colored in markers. Snapdragons were highlighted with Twinkling H2O's. Womans bodice was embellished with a silver paint pen. Finally the foreground vines were over stamped in a forest green dye ink. Scene was matted on a forest green cardstock and then framed on a golden yellow cardstock.

  • StazeOn: Black and Saddle Brown
  • Distress Inks: Tattered Rose, Mustard Seed, and worn lipstick
  • Fluid Chalk Inkpads: Bisque, Rose Coral, and Alabaster
  • Castaway Inkpad
  • Marvy Deco Color: Silver
  • Corner punch
  • Silk flowers
  • Vellum paper: White, Glossy paper: White
  • Card stock: White and Pink
  • Iron
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  1. Stamp the little girl (Hearts in Touch #94 Sugar & Spice) on white glossy cardstock using black StazeOn. Color the flowers with Mustard Seed and worn lipstick Distress Inks, and then use Tattered Rose to DTP.
  2. Use corner punch to punch four times and cut out to make photo corners.
  3. Stamp the Dotted Plume (Tim Holtz Collection CMS018 Tattered Elements) on pink card stock using Castaway Inkpad. Iron. And stamp the Dotted Plume with Rose Coral Fluid Chalk Inkpads again.
  4. Dye white vellum paper with Bisque Fluid Chalk Inkpad using DTP method. Stamp Treasurer's Hand (Tim Holtz Collection CMS016 Royal Script) with Saddle Brown StazeOn.
  5. Dye the silk flowers with Rose Coral, and Alabaster with Fluid Chalk Inkpads.
  6. Assemble the card as shown.
