"Sun Medallions" Embellishments for
your stamp art cards and scrapbooking layout pages
Supplies:
Round Keytag - Avery
Rubber Stamps:
Fool's Gold Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel:
Embossing Ink Pad - Psx Designs
Gold Ink Pad - Clearsnap
Fibers - Fibers by the Yard
Use these sun medallions to embellish art
cards and scrapbooking layouts using glue dots.
This technique can be used with any shape
stamps, such as a small leaf or flower. Change colors to match
your card or layout.
Step 1 Coat round key tag with clear embossing
powder.
Step 2 Sprinkle with embossing enamel
and heat set. Repeat this step several times until you can no
longer see the silver rim of the keytag.
Step 3
Coat sun stamp with gold ink. While last
layer of embossing enamel is still hot, press sun stamp into
tag and allow to set for a few minutes.
Step 4
Remove sun stamp to see impression. If
it is not to your liking, simply re-heat the stamp and repeat.
Step 5
Poke hole in stamp and add fibers. Attach
medallion to card or scrapbooking layout using glue dots.
