Rubber Stamp Storage & Display

Rubber Stamp Storage Ideas

|My unmounted stamps are stored in a display folder which has PVC sheet protectors. I stick the stamps directly to the PVC covers.

My ink pads are stored in a CD rack. I have broken every second rung off to fit the ink pads.

Mounted Stamps - Storage
To store mounted rubber stamps, purchase plastic frames from various discount stores. Place stamps in and stack. The sheet of protective paper can be placed on the bottom and the image stamped on it for easy return placement.

Unmounted Rubber Stamp Storage
In photo boxes store unmounted rubber stamps by attaching the velcro hook strips to the back of cardstock the size of the box.

Stamp the image on sticker paper or directly on the front of the card. Stick the unmounted on the back on the velcro hook strips.

To find companies or categories, use index finders between areas.

Another recycled rubber stamp storage container is the wooden cassette tape racks that some people have.  These are the racks that are usually mounted on the wall.  They're create because they are so thin and take up such little space.

Remove the vertical strips of wood to create slots to fit stamps.  I suggest that you use a small inexpensive child's water color brush and brush a small amount of glue under the horizontal wood strips that are left.  They can also be decorated by using stamping techniques that work on wooden surfaces.

Display Shelves for your rubber stamps

Looking for fantastic cheap or free display shelves for your rubber stamps? Many of you will have an old baby's crib in your attic or garage. They are also sold cheaply at garages sales, salvation army stores etc. Look for one with wooden slats for the sides. Remove the hardware from the entire
side piece, turn the side of the crib on it's end, and viola! Beautiful stamp shelves! The slats make the perfect depth shelf to display your wood mounted stamps.
