cardstock centering above ribbon. Stamp border using chocolate
chip onto right and left sides of brown cardstock.
- Fold wood looking specialty paper using
the following directions
A. With front side facing toward you match left to right sides.
Crease. Open. You have made a "valley fold."
B. Turn paper 90 degrees and do another "valley fold."
Open.
C. Turn paper over, so the back side is facing you. Do a diagonal
fold, top left corner can be brought down to bottom right corner.
Crease.
Open. Turn paper over. This will become a "mountain fold."
D. With front side of paper toward you gently ease folds to their
natural valley or mountain positions.
E. Grab diagonal corners where the "mountain folds"
end and gently pull toward center. This will bring the other
folds into position so there
will
be 3 sections with a flat front and back and the diagonals meeting
in the middle. Crease with fingers, so the folds hold.
F. Fold the top diagonally, so the wood looking paper will be
facing you.
- Attach cat panel to top diagonal fold.
It will be taped on the right side, so when the specialty paper
is unfolded the cat panel falls into place as one of the quadrants
of the fold.
- Open specialty paper. The cat panel
will be in one corner. Attach the sentiment panel in the center
of the opposite corner. When the paper is folded the sentiment
will be inside on one of the flat panels facing forward.
- Attach entire folded panel to 3 inch
black square.
- Stop mouse onto gray scrap, cut out
with scissors and attach to ribbon on front of card.
