Place one blank Pre-cut calendar page on a non-pourus surface.
(I like to use freezer paper or wax paper). Saturate the calendar
page with Fingernail Polish Remover. (I like to put the Polish
Remover in a smaller container that is easy to manage).
Step 2
Place color
copy face down on the wet calendar page. You should be able to
see the picture through the paper. If you don't, pour some more
fingernail polish remover on the back of the color copy until
you see the entire image. DO NOT MOVE THE COLOR COPY DURING THIS
STEP! Burnish the image with a spoon or cotton pad. Continue
burnishing the color copy until the image disappears.
Lift the color
copy, and the image should have transferred to your Pre-Cut Calendar
page.
Step 3
Embellish the transferred
photo with rubber stamps.
REPEAT the above steps 12 times...one for each month of the year.
A color copy can only be
transferred once.
Step 4
Flip the completed photo
transfer over (vertically) and stamp the Calendar Grid on the
back.
Make sure the Calendar Grid and the Photo are opposite each other.
(the top of the photo transfer should be the bottom of the calendar
grid. The top of the calendar grid should be the bottom of the
photo transfer.) - the animation to the right may help you visualize
the layout of the calendar.
Step 5
If you want
a cover on your calendar, do not stamp a Calendar Grid on the
back of the JANUARY image..instead, embellish it to look like
a cover of a closed calendar.
Punch three (4mm) holes in the bottom of the Photo Transfer (top
of Calendar grid). The Japanese Screw Punch will punch through all 12 in one swipe!! No pounding,
no stress! (you gotta have one of these! They are pricey, but
you won't regret it once you have one!) Punch one 3mm hole on
the top of the Photo Transfer if you would like to hang your
calendar.
Step 6
Step 7
Embellish the Calendar Grid to match the appropriate month and
year. Try our ABC123 sets!
Stamp one additional calendar
grid page (without a photo on the back) that will be the month
of DECEMBER as well as the back of the calendar when it is shut.
Bind all 13 pages with the Binding Rings.
Have fun! PLEASE WORK IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA!
Enter all important dates so you won't forget to send any handstamped
Birthday cards!
