Stamp collage image, Russian
Church, from Stampington, on an ivory panel w/ Memories black
inkpad. Let dry.
Using an X-Acto knife, cut out the inside portion of the image,
as you desire, to create a frame and trim closely around the
portion selected.
Using direct-to-paper technique, apply parchment, aqua, yellow, orange, red
inks to the cutouts.
Mount the frame to a stamped image, in this case, Second Star
on The Right image*, with double-sided tape or PVA adhesive.
Layer the image with black decorative paper to background paper
panel. Mount church cutout, as desired, using mounting tape to
create the collage effect.
Apply thin layer of Diamond Glaze to frame and church cutouts,
sprinkle lightly w/ glitter chunks. Finish embellishing artwork
with black decorative paper, vintage button and fibers.
* Copies of photos are also great for this technique to be used
in scrapbooks. |
