BOO! HALLOWEEN CARD

MATERIALS:

1 piece of yellow-orange card stock, 5.5" x 8.5"
2 scraps of black cover stock
14K Pumpkin embossing powder
White Sparkle Embossing powder
Stamps: 345G Spiderweb, 275C Boo!, and 343I Skeleton
black dye ink pad
clear embossing ink pad
thin black marker
foam tape
two-sided tape
scissors
ruler

1) This easy-to-make Halloween card starts with stamping the skeleton stamp on a piece of black card stock with clear embossing ink. Emboss the skeleton with the White Sparkle embossing powder. Then trim around the skeleton leaving a black border of about 1/8 inch.

2) Stamp the Boo! stamp on black cover stock with clear embossing ink.  Emboss with the 14K Pumpkin embossing powder. Trim around the image, leaving a 1/8" border on this also.

3) The next step is to stamp the Spider Web stamp in the lower left hand corner of the folded sheet of yellow-orange cover stock leaving a 1/4" to 3/8" border. You may wish to pre-draw a very light line showing where you will be placing the spider web stamp on the gold paper. You may also draw this line around the entire card so you will know where to line up your
black marker.

4) Assembly: Line up the Boo! image at an angle in the upper left hand corner and attach it to the card with 2-sided tape when you have it at the angle you want. Next, line up the skeleton image so it overlaps the Boo! image and extends down to the lower left hand part of your card. Attach it to the card with foam tape so it appears to be jumping out at you.

5) Final touches: Using a fine line marker, extend the lines of the spider web stamp out to form a border around your card. Where the Boo! stamp overlaps the line, stop and leave a little space for emphasis. And, you are done with a spooky skeleton card for Halloween!
