With you cardstock and your pigment ink cube dab squares of ink  On your cardstock.. making what ever pattern you wish. This one I did a grid type pattern to start with.  Then I took a make up brush or a really soft paint brush and dabbed on my faerie dust powders.  Making each square sort of a different color from the one next to it.

Once all squares are covered you can go back over the bare areas with the ink cube again, and repeat the dusting with powders on them until you have the look your going for. Then take a piece of CD and coat it with black ink, then black
UTEE (ultra thick embossing enamel) once you have a few layers of UTEE on it you can then take the end of a paint brush and drop some of your powders onto the hot UTEE and re-heat with your gun. It will blow the powders across the UTEE.. this looks really cool! :)

After you have this done you can either stamp a stamp into it either with or with out ink... or leave it as is.

I then wrapped some metallic strings around it and attached the shrink plastic piece onto it with some E6000 glue, as I did with the second piece of broken CD on this card too.

For the shrink plastic piece, I cut a square of SP did
DTP (direct to paper) on it then stamped my image over that and shrunk it..

Once its finished shrinking, the DTP is still wet, immediately put UTEE on it and melted it. I put a couple layers of this on then trimmed it with a silver metallic pen.

1. take a piece of white glossy card stock, and do the polished stone technique on it.
"Polished Stone Technique: tria re inkers in green, yellow and blue were used first. Take a krylon gold leafing pen and put dots of this on your glossy card stock, then with a piece of white felt, 2x3, put a few drops of green and blue ink on it side by side ... then smoosh this ink all over your card picking up the leafing ink then spritz with rubbing alcohol in a fine mist spritzer. This will make the inks spread and blend more. Once this is dry move on to step #2
 2. Stamp your judi kins gift box image over the polished stone paper.  Cut it out and cut the top off. Put foam tape on the back side of each piece next put a piece of double sided tape on your card where you will then put some denami shreds over it. Once that is down you will then adhere your box pieces over it as if its an opening box. Then stamp your happy birthday in clear embossing ink and emboss with jeweled gold embossing powder.
 3. Trim the edge of the card with your gold leafing pen
  For the card:
 4. Take a green card stock card.  I used stampin ups mellow moss .. and your cats eye pads and do the Direct To Paper technique on just the outer edges.  Direct To Paper is smearing the inks directly onto the card stock. Just swirl it about here and there blending with your sponge as you go.. and layer the color inks.
 5. Once finished with your finger and iridescent moss Faerie dust rub some all over the wet pigment
inks.
 6. Adhere your black glossy layer on center of the green card..

Materials needed:

Faerie dust: iridescent gold
watercolors
black marker
black perm ink pad ( ancient page )
colored pencils

1. Stamp image on white card stock 4-5 times on a full piece of card stock on a separate piece of card stock (white) stamp it once in the center.  Color all images with colored pencils

 2. Cut out images on the full sheet of card stock only.  Trim the edges of cut outs with black marker so your edges are not white.  Each layer is the next dimensional layer in the image ... meaning I didn't use the entire image each time.  Look at your image and find what is behind what.  Start with the furthest back portion.  Next layer is the the next thing upward.. for example the hand is behind the bird house so the layer after the hand is just the bird house.. get it?   Just keep building your images this one has four layers to it.
 3. Watercolor around the angel while still wet you rub the Faerie dust over it with your finger.
 4. Trim with gold metallic pen.
 5. Layer on black glossy card stock, then on a dark green card.
