Materials for Album:
Matboard- cut 2, 6x7" pieces and 2, 6x1" pieces
Lay 1 of each matboard piece on decorative paper that has been
cut ½" longer and wider than the matboard.
Leave ¼" space between the two pieces to create the
hinge.
Glue the matboard pieces to the decorative paper, miter the corners
and turn the excess to the inside and glue down. Cover both front
and back in this manner.

Cut inside cover cardstock
(7 ¾" x 5 ¾") and glue to inside of each
cover. Run bone folder or stylus along inside hinge so hinge
opens easily.
Punch 2 holes in each "spine" section. Cut several
sheets of inside paper (5 ½" x 7 ½").
Punch holes in each paper so they line up with the holes punched
in the cover. Thread ribbon or fibers through holes, tie and
then decorate outside cover.
Outside Cover:
On small white panel, stamp, mask and emboss several flowers
(gg designs-Modified Floral Minis) with gold detail powder along
corner. Color with markers and Fiji Water pen (filled with
blender fluid). Stamp and emboss the same flowers on scrap
white cardstock, color and cut out. Stamp and emboss butterfly
(Stamp It!), color and cut out. Layer cut out flowers
on top of stamped flowers on the panel and adhere with glue gun.
Adhere the butterfly in the same manner. Stamp and emboss
message (Stamp It!) in top right corner of panel. Edge panel
with gold leaf pen and mount to green panel.
On large white panel stamp and emboss words (Stamp Zia) and leaves
(gg designs) with gold, moss and garnet powders. Edge panel with
gold leaf pen. Mount flower panel to large panel and adhere to
front of album cover.

1) I save the plastic bottle tops from soda, water bottles to
use as 'portion cups' when I'm doing my paper-arts. They are
great for holder embossing liquid for brush techniques, small
amounts of glue, paints.....
2) old CD's--the one's
that come inth e mail or the one's that my son has mis-downloaded
on his CD recorder--make excellent paint pallettes--especially
for pearl-ex---when i'm done for the day I spread the paint a
little on the cd, sprinkle on some powdered pearls and do a little
'direct-to-paper' to use up the left-over.
