"Sparkling Snowflakes"
Stamp Artist - Daylene Strickland
Directions:
This method of ink application was demonstrated by Tim Holtz.
I find it very easy and recommend it! Use recycled wood-handled
rubber stamp with Velcro for base (remove rubber image and replace
with Velcro). Apply felt strip. Apply blending solution, then
drops of both alcohol inks. Apply colors to a piece of metallic
silver paper until completely covered. Trim to desired background
and adhere to navy card. Set aside. On slightly smaller navy
cardstock panel stamp random images of smaller snowflakes using
white Crafters ink. Use silver accent pen around edges of cardstock.
Stamp and emboss greeting in denim on torn piece of vellum. Edge
with VersaMark and emboss with silver. Tie on small ribbon and
tape vellum to the cardstock panel on the backside. Adhere to
the card. Emboss (2) snowflake ornaments with denim on turquoise
cardstock and (2) snowflakes on navy using white and holographic
embossing powder. Cut these out and layer each one navy on one
turquoise askew with pop dots between them to raise. Adhere to
card and embellish with cabochon in the center.
