Instructions:
Using a Versa Mark pad, the image was Stamped randomly onto a 3.5"x5" piece of white glossy cardstock. Drops of ink were scattered randomly across the image, one color at a time, using Vivid reinkers in butterscotch and olive, and Posh Impressions reinker in citrus.

After each color was applied,it was lightly brayered to blend. The whole piece was covered with UTEE and heat-embossed.  Then Egyptian Gold (Judikins) and Copper (Ranger) embossing powders were sprinkled randomly over surface. Another coat of UTEE was applied and heat-embossed again. The piece was mounted on decorative paper and Olive cardstock with gold eyelets. Art fibers were tied on to one side.

Where The Buffalo Roam
Stamp Artist - Pam Fraser

Supplies:
Buffalo stamp (Stampa Rosa #027-1901
Brown velvet paper
Scraps of decorative paper in blue, green, and tan
Brown cardstock folded into card + 1 piece a little
larger than the front of the card.
Memories Ink - black
Dried flowers
Paper Crimper
Double stick tape
Foam tape
Craft glue that dries clear

Steps: 1) Stamp buffalo in black ink on brown velvet paper.  Cut out.

2) Cut a strip of blue decorative paper large enough to cover the top half of your card front. Mount to
the card with double stick tape.

3) Tear mountain shapes out of the tan decorative paper and grassland out of the green decorative
paper. Mount both to the card front with double stick tape.

4) Run the extra piece of brown cardstock through a paper crimper. Cut into frame shape and mount to
card front with double stick tape.

5) Now mount the buffalo with foam tape and glue the flowers into position.

NOTE: I only had bright white flowers, so I used a Marvy Marker to tint them the shade I wanted.
Also, the tan decorative paper is actually the back of an orange decorative paper I had - the back just
looked better.

Mountain Eagle
Stamp Artist - Carolyn Summer

INSTRUCTIONS:

Caught in Crystal” technique was used to create the eagle. Stamp the image on acetate film with Brilliance black ink and spray with fixative. When dry, tape the image side down to a sheet of paper on all four sides to prevent the floor polish from seeping onto the image. Pour Future clear floor wax over the image and spread out with brush or foam paint pad. Sprinkle heavy application of green glitter on floor polish and dry with heat gun to speed up the process. Add second coat of floor polish and spread across the image. Use a piece of tissue paper slightly larger than the acetate film, crumble it into a ball then spread out on top of the floor polish. Add the colors to the tissue paper and blend as desired using a piece of paper towel or brush. The Studio 2 inks do not require much blending, otherwise you blot out the color. Add the Inkabilities metallic colors sparingly as desired. Dry with heat gun. Add final coat of Future floor polish and set aside to dry or use heat gun. (Caution: Be careful when drying with heat gun to prevent distorting or melting the acetate film.)

Prepare a 5 by 7 gold card by stamping randomly around the outside edges (about one inch border) using side B of the cube stamp. Emboss with gold tinsel powder. Cut a piece of fabric approximately 4 by 5-1/2 and pink the edges.

Cut out the eagle image as shown to allow an area large enough at the bottom to fit on the twig. Cut a twig to fit diagonally on the card. Wrap gold wire around the length of the twig; and, attach metallic gold thread to each end. (If you tilt the eagle image, the colors change and the head portion becomes lighter. It is an interesting effect.)

To assemble, glue the fabric to the gold card then glue the twig with the gold wire at a diagonal and the second twig along the bottom for the eagle to rest on. Mount the eagle on the bottom twig using foam pads or dots to support the image. Glue the final art to a folded 5-1/2 by 7-1/2 black card.

"March To The Sea"
Stamped Cell Phone Cover
Stamp Artist - Kathleen Mahoney
  • Obtain an inexpensive replacement cell phone cover for your cell phone. If you chose a base that is similar to the color you end up with, you'll need to use less painting.
  • Remove the keypad and the clear plastic screen cover & set them aside.
  • Stipple on a variety of coordinating colors of ink. I used Brilliance Ivy, Fresco Mediterranean Tide, Vesuvian Ash, & Blue Grotto, and Color Box Royal Blue. I kept the blues more towards one and the greens more towards the other for a two toned effect. I may be necessary to add color in stages. Seal in between with Krylon matte finish. DO NOT HEAT SET; you cover may melt.
  • Paint the accent stripe. I used Lumiere blue to paint the little accent stripe around the top.
  • Stamp the turtles. (Turtle stamp by Rubber Monger.) I used Brilliance Ivy for the pale turtles in one direction and Zim forest green for the darker turtles in the other direction. Before I stamped the Zim ink turtles, I put a dab of gold from a dabber duo where the shell was going to be and stamped over it.
  • Seal it all up. Apply several coats of matte or gloss finish. (I used Krylon Low-Odor Gloss finish.) More coats will protect your stamped images better from scratches as you use it.
  • Replace the keypad and the clear plastic screen cover.

Stamp and emboss image (Stamp Camp) on white cardstock with copper embossing powder. Cut out. Stipple edges of image with Adirondack inks. Mount to copper panel and then navy panel. Stamp and emboss words (Stamp Zia) to bottom of navy panel with copper powder. Edge navy panel with copper marker.

To create background panel, first create a large "tile" of embossing powders on a Teflon craft sheet. Cover the craft sheet with embossing ink and two layers of clear Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel (UTEE). Pour ginger, clay, denim and moss Adirondack powders onto the clear UTEE. Heat set and swirl with gold UTEE. Let set. Cover a black cardstock panel with three layers of copper UTEE. Break off the "tile" from the Teflon craft sheet and cut it up into small pieces. Drop pieces onto the hot copper panel and heat set to a smooth finish. Let cool. Mount UTEE panel to copper panel then navy card. Adhere grasshopper panel to front center of card.

Butterfly Stamp – Stampendous Sensations
Acetate transparency
Posh Rainbow Inks
Hot Pink
Blue
Memories – Baby Pink InkGreenhorn Valley Arts Embossing Powder – Crystal Gold
Sparkles – Old Gold
Tacky repositionable glue
Small Butterfly punch
Eyelet
Scalloped Adhesive tape
Amy’s Watercolour Leaf

Instructions
Using Rainbow Inks sponging technique, create a random rainbow pattern on white card stock and cut in at 4.25” circle [be sure to mark the center].

Stamp butterfly image with clear embossing ink on a transparency and emboss with gold glitter embossing powder.

Using the same butterfly image, stamp[with any color ink] on white cardstock which will become the card front.

Using a small butterfly punch, punch several butterflies from scrap paper and add a dot of repositionable glue to the back of each. Position randomly around the stamped butterfly card front. Using a cotton ball, dab baby pink ink over the card. Remove the punched butterflies [leaving white butterfly images].

Using an X-acto knife, cut the large butterfly image exactly on the lines and remove. Use glitter glue around the inside edge of the butterfly that matches the embossing on the transparency.

Line up the transparency image of the butterfly under the card front and attach behind card front.

Attach the card front to a folded cardstock card with only a strip of adhesive at the bottom of the card front [leaving the top and sides free for the moment].

Position the circle behind the transparency in such a way that when it turns, nothing will show though the butterfly except the circle and the center of the circle is under the butterfly body. Secure with an eyelet through the circle and card only that allows the circle to spin behind the card front.

Seal remaining edges of card front to card, leaving the area at the top where the circle extends unsealed.

Attach scalloped adhesive to edges of card and cover with Amy’s Watercolour Leaf.
