"Believe"
Stamp Artist - Pam Fraser
Steps:
1) This card uses the label technique. On to three labels, stamp the ladies face in black ink. NOTE: You may want to use a stamp positioner so you can better control where the breaks in the image will occur.

2) Color this with Radiant Pearls.

3) In the same colors you used for the lady in leaves, paint the Radiant Pearls directly onto the leaf stamp and stamp the leaf onto the sticker paper. I found I had to smooth edges and correct the color some once I had stamped it.

4) When the Radiant Peals are set, place the labels and the leaf on the vellum. Make sure to line the labels up just as they were originally. Pay attention to spacing; too close or too far apart distorts the stamp image. Stamp "Believe" in the teal ink on the leaf image.

5) Stamp the lady bug in pink ink on the leaf image.

6) Cut around the face and leaf images leaving an edge of vellum all the way around. Expose the adhesive backing on the vellum and apply the images to the card front.

"Green Beaded Book"
Stamp Artist - Susan LaCroix

Directions: Cut 4 pieces of paper to 8" x2 3/4" and the sheet of cardstock to 8" x 3". Fold the paper sheets in half, then flatten them back out again. These will be the book's pages. Decorate them however you want to, on both sides. Let the sheets dry, then put them together again, refold and set aside. Now, lay the cardstock out in front of you horizontally. Measure in 4" from the left side and leave a pencil mark top and bottom. Measure in another 4" from those marks and mark again top and bottom. Now fold the cardstock where you've marked, then flatten again. This time measure in from the right side 1" and mark top and bottom. From each of these marks, draw a line back to the corner of the nearest fold. Cut along these lines and discard the scrap. Now fold the cover up again, with the right flap on top. measure in about 2" from the right edge and make marks above and below the flap. Unfold the cover and lay it flat. Cut a slot between the two marks that you made, for the flap to slide into when the book is closed. Now you can decorate the book's cover, inside and out. When you're finished with the cover, lay out flat all of the pages and the cover and spray them with a fixative such as Krylon to protect the finish, and let dry. When everything is ready, insert your collated pages into the cover and use the thumbtack to punch three holes through the spine of the book, so you can sew it together. Thread your needle with the clear nylon thread and insert it from the outside through the middle hole. Don't knot the thread, and remember to keep about a 4" tail on the outside of the book to tie off with at the end. Now, bring your needle up through the top hole and then down through the bottom hole. Your last stitch brings you back up through the middle hole but be sure to come up on the other side of the long stitch on the outside. Remove the needle and tie the ends together into a knot and trim. Glue the button to the front flap and slide a tassel or a ribbon through the book like a bookmark. Charms or beads can be added to this also to add a little sparkle. This project can take as little or as long as you want it to, depending on the amount of stamping and coloring you want to do. This one took me approximately 16 hrs.

The Tiger Rider stamp (Sheet #S038 from Stamp Camp) was stamped on cardstock using Brilliance Graphite Black and embossed. The image was colored using Crayola Watercolor Pencils and a Stampin' Up Blender pen. This image was cut out and glued on two pieces of cardstock.

A circular cardboard disc was cut and smeared with embossing fluid. The disc was dipped into clear UTTE (from
Suze Weinberg Design Studio) and heated.

"A Wild Ride"
Stamp Artist - Susan Joa
Various layers and colors of UTTE were applied and heated, including black, interference blue, bronze, and gold. After the final layer was added and heated, a toothpick was used to make lines across the UTTE for a swirl effect. The disc was glued to a cardstock with fibers fixed underneath. The Tiger Rider image from above was glued next to the disc. This cardstock was layered with three other card stocks.
