"Eye of Horus"
Stamp Artist - Sharon Luke |
Blue paper was deckled with a deckle edged
ruler, then glued to card stock for strength. Egyptian stamp
by Judi Kinz (Bollio 6817K) was stamped
on blue paper, then dusted with "Pearl-Ex" super copper.
It was then sprayed with Krylon fixative.
The eye was drawn, then traced on tinfoil. I then filled in the
outline on the tinfoil with hot glue. The eye was rubbed with
"metallic Rub-ons" by
Craf-T Products and dusted with Pearl-Ex super copper. It was
then glued on the blue paper.
The blue paper was adhered to copper card stock with double sided
foam tape.

Supplies:
Acetate, Document ink, white tissue paper, Pearl Ex, Marvy Metallic
Markers, Gel Pens, Magic Leaf
Sandpaper, specialty papers, black matte cardstock
Rubber Stamps:
all Beeswax
Steps:
Stamp images with Document on acetate; allow to dry. On
the backside, color details with the Gel pens on some images
and allow to dry. On other images, apply Marvy Metallic
Markers randomly (also on back) and allow to dry. Apply
adhesive (Xyron or magic sheet) to the back. I applied
tissue paper on the backs of several images; with others I applied Magic
Leaf; and with others I applied Pearl Ex - I experimented with
the different combinations - but basically this is all a variation
on the same theme. Cut out images; apply mounting foam
to some images. Layer as shown. Sandpaper is used
to create the floor of the room.
