Congratulations to Mary Garvy for her winning entry "The Lord of the Master"

"The Lord and Master"
The Ten Catmandments
Stamp Artist - Mary Garvey

Supplies:

Black oval matte frame, black glossy cardstock, black matte cardstock
Marvy Metallics, Gold Krylon Pen, plastic wrap
Radiant Pearls, Pearl Ex, Clear Embossing Powder
Document ink, Versamark

Stamps: Catmandments (Stamp Camp), Cat King (ZIMPrints)

Steps:
Stamp cat king with Versamark on black matte cardstock, and brush on Pearl Ex; spray with Krylon Workable Fixative, and cut out . On black glossy cardstock, randomly apply several Marvy Metallic markers; spritz with water and scrunch plastic wrap on top; allow to dry thoroughly before removing plastic wrap (this is in Suze's book); this is the background for the cat king.

On the black frame, stipple Radiant Pearls - I used the "interference" colors; this was not "light' enough, so I applied various colors of Pearl Ex over the entire frame; when satisfied, I embossed with clear embossing
powder multiple times.

When cool, stamp directly on the frame the 10 Catmandments in Document ink.  Re-heat to seal. Apply gold Krylon along the inner and outer edges of the frame.

Assemble as shown on a black glossy card.

Technique Used: Radiant Pearls and Pigment Powders w/ Versamark

"So much cheese ... So little time"
Stamp Artist - Betty Sovereign

I stippled an off-white cardstock circle with a Pearlescent Yellow Brilliance Pad. Then I stamped all 3 stamps onto the circle with a Graphite Black Brilliance Pad, sprinkled with clear embossing powder and heat embossed. Then I randomly punched holes with 3 different sized hole punches. I adhered this circle to a larger mustard colored circle and attached this to a brick colored square card. I then painted the mouse with Radiant Pearls. I used Black Organza (SP301), Petal Pink (SP203) and Snowqueen (LS120) and embossed this as well with clear embossing powder.

"Buzz!"
Stamp Artist - Niki Johnson

I used black cardstock & layered a smaller piece of glossy yellow cardstock on top. On the yellow cardstock I stamped Buzz (from Judith “Beary Special” Griz set) with Graphite Black Brilliance ink. I used a smaller piece of black cardstock and layered another glossy yellow piece on top. I stamped the Bee (Judith H-81) with Graphite Black Brilliance on the glossy yellow. I mounted the smaller piece using 2 foam pop-dots to the card. I then tied a beehive and 2 bee button/embellishments (brand unknown) to black fiber. I attached the fiber through the top of the card.
