 Celestial Surprise
Stamp Artist - John Murdock
Supplies:
12" x 12" double sided, heavy Light Blue/Blue paper; Gray card stock, Metallic Blue Brilliance stamp pad; Royal Blue Petal Point stamp pad; Stardust Embossing powder; Radiant Pearls, AI Glitter and glue; Yes glue; Suze Gluez, elastic gift wrap cord, silver; star button, Nymo thread white.

Instructions: Cut blue paper to size 9 3/16" square. Measure to center of each edge 4 9/16" and mark. From mark measure toward center of sheet, 5/16" and mark. Lay straight edge diagonally from mark to mark and with craft knife cut from mark out to edge of paper, ending when all cuts are made with small triangles in the center of each side. With bone folder, on Blue side, score line diagonally from triangle apex to apex. Fold, making four triangular leaves. On the Light Blue side stamp the leaves with Star Power stamp in Royal Blue, leaving about a 1/4" border unstamped. On Gray card stock, stamp four Moonrise in Metallic Blue, apply embossing powder and emboss. (My embossing was not as successful as one would desire. Many mistakes were made on this project.) Trim stamped images to border. Stamp CC's Starscape Sphere on card stock, same as Moonrise, except the image was not embossed. Trim image around the border. Color all images with Radiant Pearls using Water Brushes, Small and Large. Glue the Moonrise images on the leaves, leaving a bit of a border around. Center the Sphere on the square and glue. Cut out eight triangle shaped pieces of paper from scrap, four small and four large. Glue large triangle in the corners of the square and the smaller under the Moonrises. Decorate triangles and around the Sphere and the apexes of the Moonrises with AI Glitter.Make a loop from the silver cord, glue ends together, wrap with Nymo thread, knot and sew star button on, hiding the wrap and secure with drop of Suze Gluez. Cut a piece of scrap about 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inch, fold at about a third of the length, attach to back of project, insert cord into fold and glue down. Fold in leaves, stretch cord across and loop over bottom.

Supplies:

Time to Stamp
The Sky's the Limit - Printworks (#E1399)
Brilliance Graphite Black pigment ink
Acetate sheet
Gildenglitz
Glissen Gloss 2mm Blue Metallic Polyester
Braid Ribbon 2
Radiant Pearls - Cool Water, Desert Clay, Solar
Bronze
White linen cardstock - folded into a card & scrap rectangle piece
Duo-Embellishing Adhesive or Magic Leaf Glue
Double stick tape
Black Sharpie - fine point
Stamp positioner (optional)
Steps:
1) Paint blue a scrap rectangle of white cardstock.

2) Paint bronze the card front. Place random very small dots of desert clay on the card front and rub in; just want a subtle hint.

3) Stamp the sun on a square of acetate in black ink. Heat set. Draw a square around the sun with a black Sharpie.

4) "Color" in the sun from the back by applying glue only on the sun. Once the glue turns clear, apply the Gildenglitz. NOTE: I chose certain colors, not just random,Whisk away the excess.

5) Glue the ribbon around the edges of the square. The ribbon is applied to the underside.

6) Now apply glue to the remaining sections of the sun. Again you are working on the backside. Once glue turns clear, apply the Gildenglitz and whisk awy the excess.

7) After the
Radiant Pearls have set, mount the blue rectangle and the sun to the card front with double stick tape.

8) Stamp the saying on the card front in black ink. NOTE: A stamp positioner will help assure you get the saying just where you want it. Also, since I was stamping part on a raised surface and part off, I made sure a split in the words would occur over where the two surfaces came together. Otherwise, a word wouldn't have stamped clearly.

Moon Dancer
Stamp Artist - Susan Lacroix
Directions:
Fold gold embossed cardstock in half and set aside. On glossy stock, stamp "Celestial Dreams" in Brilliance ink and let dry. When the image is dry, color it with the markers, then carefully cut it out. Layer it onto the holographic paper and then layer that onto the gold scrap cardstock. running each consecutive layer through a Zyron machine first makes assembly quick and easy. Now, under the gold goes the brown layer, each one a little larger than the previous layer. You can decide for yourself which layers would look best trimmed with the decorative scissors. Take all of your layers and add them to your gold embossed cardstock. Finish by trimming with tassels and charms.

Supplies:
32 gauge copper
Liver of Sulphur
eyelets
black and copper glossy c.s.

For this card I stamped the sun image G2556 by PSX available through A Country Welcome on copper with Vaseline. Distressed by hammering.
Set aside.
Take a black glossy folded card and layer a piece of copper glossy c.s. On a smaller size piece of black glossy c.s. I stamped stars LL457 Star Prints, by Hero Arts, with clear embossing ink and applied copper embossing powder. Heat. Finally I layered the copper piece onto a slightly larger piece of copper glossy c.s. and used copper eyelets to attach. Place this in center of card using double stick tape.
